Designed for the culinary enthusiast, whether you’re a seasoned cook or brand new to the kitchen, the everyday essentials series will teach you basic and advanced techniques to increase your culinary confidence and expand your everyday repertoire. With Chef’s tricks, tips and culinary quips you’ll learn basic knife skills and techniques from sautéing, braising, frying, poaching, baking, roasting, searing, emulsifying and more. And best of all, you’ll learn how to use fresh, seasonal ingredients to create simple yet delicious, and healthy meals everyday at home. 

Join us for a holiday feast, Southern-style, and learn how to effortlessly whip up traditional holiday dishes with our simple recipes and instruction. Take your holiday dinners to new levels and spend more time entertaining family and friends and less time in the kitchen! Chef's crowd-pleasing recipes will help you plan the perfect feast, whether you’re entertaining a table of 4 or 24. In addition to learning the secrets to perfectly moist turkey, Chef will provide you with some make-ahead strategies, menu planning and hosting ideas so you can make the most of your holiday.

After Chef walks you through the preparations of your meal, you'll don your apron and roll up your sleeves. Once you've completed your meal, you will sit down and enjoy it. Optional wine pairings will be available.  

Throughout the afternoon you'll learn about the recipes, food preparation, and the "why" behind the optional wines we pair with the meal.

All AWS cooking classes include an emphasis on wine, because that's who we are! If you would like to add wine to your experience, you can taste 32 different wines in our Enomatics (wine dispensing system) or you can order wine by the glass or bottle.

Roast Turkey breast with Homemade Amaretto Cranberry Sauce with Orange Zest

Savory Bread Pudding with Sourdough, Roasted Squash and Gruyere

Haricots Vert with Candied Walnuts

Warm Sticky Figgy Pudding
