Since you can’t visit wine country, we’re bringing the Pacific Northwest wine country to your living room! Join us for a live, interactive tasting with Boyd Pearson at Redolent Wine. Wines presented will be available for sale at Vino Venue so you can taste along for the ultimate sensory experience. Zoom invitation will be shared upon purchase of two or more bottles of wine*.

About Redolent Wine:


Redolent Wine is collaboration between Jon Larson and Boyd Pearson. Jon Larson has been a fermenter for decades of everything from grapes and grains to cheese and bread to kimchi and kombucha, never stopping his quest for knowledge about the mystical process of fermentation. Boyd Pearson is a veteran salesman in the wine industry and a lifelong student of wine and the business of wine, always seeking to learn and taste more. Introducing someone to a memorable wine brings him true joy. We bring all of our experiences to the table to collaborate on every wine we make and continue to push each other through experimentation to try and produce both wines redolent of place and wines redolent of simple pleasure.

About Boyd Pearson:


Born in Charleston, SC and raised on low-country cooking, food has always held a special place for Boyd. After attending Clemson University, he moved to Atlanta, GA, where he worked in a restaurant, and while his love for food continued to grow, his passion for wine truly blossomed. When he switched his restaurant gig to ad agency work, Boyd continued his wine education with WSET, ISG, and CWE courses, as well as continually tasting wine from around the world. While it was a Napa Cabernet that gave him the idea to leave advertising and go fully into the wine business, it was an Oregon Pinot Noir that truly sealed his fate, and Boyd moved to Portland in May of 2008.

Boyd began working in tasting rooms around the Willamette Valley and helping out producers during harvest. Most of his free time was (and still is) spent studying wine, drinking wine or assisting wineries in some capacity. After eight years in advertising and nearly two years working tasting rooms, Boyd found a home (and full-time job!) at one of his favorite wineries in the valley, Anne Amie Vineyards.

When not doing something wine related, Boyd can be found reading books, listening to music, geeking out on the web, watching movies, attending concerts, or obsessing over anything Clemson sports related, generally pairing a glass of wine with each activity.
