Since you can’t travel to wine country, we’re bringing the best of wine country to your living room! Join us as we explore the greatest wine producing areas of the world with your personal tour guide and wine expert, Adam Pucillo. Discover small production wineries and unique varietals while you uncover hidden gems and delve behind the scenes at some of Adam’s favorite off-the-beaten-path wine producers. 

This interactive series provides a unique context for the enjoyment of wine appropriate for every level of interest and expertise. Learn about the history, culture and language of wine through visual presentations, commentary and anecdotes from Adam’s personal experiences. And best of all, leave us with greater confidence, passion and understanding of the grapes so you can ultimately experience the pleasure of wine.

This is a complimentary course with the purchase of wine which is available for sale and curbside pick up at Vino Venue.

About Adam Pucillo:


Adam Pucillo is an Advanced Sommelier and Master Sommelier candidate with Eagle Rock Distributing Company, where he is a Fine Wine & Spirits On-Premise Consultant.  

In 1997, Adam moved to Atlanta to pursue a mechanical engineering degree from Georgia Tech.  After finishing school and spending 7 years with Pratt & Whitney and Accenture, he went back to Georgia Tech for his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.  In 2008 while in graduate school, Adam began working in fine dining and the rest as they say, is history.  Adam remained in the restaurant industry until 2019 when he joined Eagle Rock, most recently serving as Wine Director of Del Frisco's Double Eagle and American Cut, as well as Sommelier at Atlas.  Since coming to Eagle Rock Adam has enjoyed being able to mentor and educate, paying it forward, like the mentors he has had along the way.  

Adam spends his free time with his 3-year-old son, Lucas, and studying for his upcoming  Master Sommelier exams.  He is a fanatic of Northern Rhône producers like Jean-Louis Chave and Thierry Allemand, and if years in steakhouses taught him one thing:  people need to drink more syrah!
